NILLOW Phase II Randomised Trial
Dr. Deepak Garg was the first author of the NILLOW Phase II randomised trial, an investigator-initiated study evaluating upfront low-dose diet-modified nilotinib versus standard imatinib in Indian patients with newly diagnosed chronic-phase chronic myeloid leukaemia.
The study was presented at the ASCO Annual Meeting 2026 and published as a 2026 Journal of Clinical Oncology conference abstract.
The published ASCO abstract reports that the trial enrolled 146 patients and evaluated early molecular response, safety and haematological recovery.
